Minestrone!
This is our first bowl of Minestrone in Florence. The photo was take in the Piazza Della Repubblica at one of the restaurants on the south side of the square. It was very good, with a strong flavor of olive oil. No pasta in the Florentine version of this soup - but large chunks of bread.
