Perseus by Cellini
One of the most famous and well known sculptures in the world, Cellini's bronze Perseus has stood in the Loggia for nearly 500 years. The base is a copy, with the original now in the Bargello. The sculpture was restored in the late 1990s and is the subject of much debate as to whether it should be moved indoors to protect it further.
