I was in the Uffizi with the kids the other day and ran into the guide who took us through the Vasari Corridor back in October. She told me that as far as the opening of the corridor goes, that it should have been closed already for restoration, but since the funds don't seem to be available, it could be open again at some point in 2010.
If you are interested in visiting, you should periodically check the official site - if they start to offer dates again, it will be announced on that page. If we hear anything, I will make sure to post it here.
