It looks like the road work in Piazza Sant'Ambrogio is done. This is good news, as this area can be very crowded - and getting a bike through there the last few months was a real issue. The piazza has all new paving blocks and looks to be completely a pedestrian zone now - I just hope they eventually take away the hideous water-filled traffic barriers (photo below). They are really destroying the aesthetic of what was a job well done.

Climbing The Duomo

These barriers are now down and the Piazza looks great. Down the street nearer to the Standa is the next intersection to be ripped up at the moment. It seems that slowly but surely all corners are being re-done across the city.
